Set of Foo Dog Lamps

Set of table lamps in resin with a milk chocolate brown silk shade, fitted with a 3 way socket and clear cord, up to 150 watts. The earliest Foo Dogs date from the Han Dynasty in 208 BC. The Buddhist dogs are actually lions depicted from verbal descriptions, as lions are not native to China. Usually shown in pairs, the male lion on the right rest his protective paw on the earth. On the right, the female rest her nurturing paw on a cub. The strength and courage of the pair maintains the peace and tranquility of those who enter their space.
