Bloom

Bloom* is a tile based wall installation. Each tile 'bloom' is unique; having a natural movement and motion to each tile.

The 'bloom' on each tile consists of thousands of single strands of extruded clay... hand attached. The variation of bloom is therefore naturally altered, depending upon flow and flux of the attachments.

The glaze is brushed on, with multiple glaze coats prior to the final firing. Brushing the glaze ensures the individual blooms are enhanced; having the glaze body complement the individual attachments within the bloom collective.
