Armchair of sandblasted solid and wax-finished durmast with seat and back made of parchment leather.
Design: Paola Navone
Absorbing tradition and shaping it all over again. Solid wood is used in combination with iron, pottery, and parchment. It is not painted but textured so that it will eventually reach a pale shade of grey because the tannin will give the wood the natural faded shade of a long last piece of timber. The wood is left with rough, unpolished edges and combined with a > MORE sophisticated manufacturing process of a highly structural perfection. The seats, chair backs and armchairs are transformed by its off-whiteness created by the uncommon use of nearly polished, glossy parchment. ^ LESS
