Exhibition Chair - Barcelona Reproduction

This is a high quality reproduction of the popular Mies van der Rohe Pavilion Chair introduced and made famous during the 1929 International Exhibition in Barcelona, Spain. Our chairs, while reproductions of the original design, are exquisitely and meticulously manufactured with genuine top grain, 100% aniline dyed leather and the highest quality hand polished stainless steel frames.
The frame is constructed from premium grade solid bar stock stainless steel. Single piece construction ensures long term durability. All joints are fully welded, sealed, and seamless. The frame is hand-polished to a perfect mirror finish. The geometry of the frame is true to the Mies van der Rohe original Barcelona design.
The cushion surfaces consist of individual 100% aniline dyed leather panels; each piece is cut and hand-sewn with attentive detail. Seat and back cushions are filled with high resilient - high density polyurethane foam. The cushions are supported by heavy saddle leather straps riveted to the frame and whose top and side edges match upholstery color.
