Fog Ikat Decorative Pillow

John Robshaw Textiles

Hand woven ikats from Thailand always have a subtle grace. These pillows are made by farmers from Isaan in the off seasons when they are not harvesting. Looking at them, I remember the soft click-clak of the looms under their raised houses as you approach their village. Each cotton linen pillow is printed using the same traditional Indian blockprinting techniques that have been used for thousands of years. Detailed blocks are chiseled out of shesham wood, then dipped in a dye pad before being > MORE stamped onto the fabric. After printing, the fabrics are washed, pressed, sewn & embellished with hand stitched details and edging. NOTE: pillow covers do not include inserts. Please order inserts separately.^ LESS
