Mies van der Rohe- 2-seat bench

This is a high quality reproduction of the popular Mies van der Rohe Bench. It is a great compliment to any of the pieces introduced and made famous during the 1929 International Exhibition in Barcelona, Spain. Our reproduction is manufactured using top grain, 100% aniline-dyed leather, hardwood frame and stainless steel legs.

The frame is constructed from premium grade hardwood - 1.5" x 4" thick - with a choice between walnut stained medium brown, walnut stained rosewood, or ash with an ebonized black stain. The stainless steel legs are hand-polished to a high luster mirror finish and are 1.5 inches in diameter. The size and geometry of the frame is true to the Mies van der Rohe original design. The cushion surface consists of individual 100% aniline-dyed leather panels; each piece is cut and hand-sewn with attentive detail. Inside the cushion consists of high resilient - high density polyurethane foam. The cushion is supported by heavy saddle leather straps riveted to the frame and whose top and side edges match upholstery color.
