Molded Plywood Chair and Ottoman

Here is a excellent reproduction of an iconic Lounge Chair and Ottoman, which was designed in the mid 50's and is popular even today. In our version, we have created a reproduction of the wood mold for the chair frame, ottoman frame, pedestals and feet.
Our chair is offered with a choice of two wood species: a closed grain walnut veneer plywood, stained a very warm and rich Rosewood finish; or, for an extra charge, a very beautiful Zebrano wood veneer stained to a natural color.
The chair has a 5 spoke base and the ottoman has a 4 spoke base, both of which swivel 360 degrees. Our bases are cast aluminum made to match the "original" design, polished on top and flat black lacquer paint on the bottom half. There are adjustable glides on the bottom of the bases and the chair sits at a stationary angle or pitch and does not recline further.
The leather is top-grain, full-aniline dyed imported from Italy, 1.2 mil thick. The leather upholstery casing is bonded to the plywood frame and the cushions are removable.
