Pierre Paulin designed the Tulip Chair in 1965 taking his inspiration from the opening petals of the flower, which gives the chair its distinguished line. The Tulip Side Chair sits atop a single stem base completing the look of the namesake perfectly. The chair is a beautiful blend of function and design.
Our Tulip Side Chair is made to the specifications of the original and features a finely upholstered finish. This is stretched over a foam core which is bonded to an expertly molded plywood frame. The base of the chair is high polished chrome.
