Star Light

Tucker Robbins

The Moravian star is known to have originated in the 1830's at the Moravian boys school in Germany as a geometry lesson. Adopted by the Moravian church as an advent symbol, it soon found its way around the world and into many different cultures. Today, in the eyes of the Peruvian artisans that handcrafted these from recycled rubber metal, the Moravian stars are seen as a symbol of new beginnings.
