Forkola Bench

Riva

"Having lived and traveled in Italy and having spent time in Venice, I am honored to take part in a project of such great historical importance. Riva 1920 when he contacted me to offer me the "Briccole" I immediately started to think back to the days he spent in Italy involved in the studies and the importance of change, but embracing the future using the past to the value it deserves. I started to draw shapes derived from the language of gondolas, soft organic shapes and elongated in contrast > MORE with a beam geometric dotted. Riva 1920 has selected the design that considered most intriguing and we have developed several creating scale models and improving the shape with the progress of the project. The result has given rise to two elements in the form of drop, one pulled and crushed face to create the backrest and the other, pulled, recreating the surface of a table with a briccola that fills the space between the two ".^ LESS
