Compactly scaled and elegant in its simplicity, the Pixo Lamp (2011) is the work of twin brothers in design, Pablo and Fernando Pardo. Designed to be a personal light, Pixo has a head that rotates 360 degrees and a three-axis articulated stem that tilts 180 degrees to direct light anywhere it's needed, in addition to high and low settings for further flexibility. Using just five watts, Pixo provides a surprisingly warm, bright light for its size, and its innovative low-energy LEDs have a > MORE 50,000-hour life span. Advanced chip-on-board technology allows the 75 LEDs to run cooler, providing consistent, long-lasting and uniform-quality light. As a bonus, the Pardo twins have included a USB port in the base for charging mobile devices. Made in China.
