Give everyone a cubby

Lockers with concealed storage can do wonders for keeping an entry free of the everyday items we tend to drop at the door. Designate a cubby for each member of the family, and remind him or her to do regular cleanouts to keep less frequently used items from piling up. If you don't have space for built-ins, consider transforming a slim wardrobe or bookcase with doors into a storage locker.
