Color in the Kitchen: Green

By Lisa Frederick

Green is among the easiest colors to bring into a kitchen. Because it's so predominant in the natural world, we're used to seeing a lot of it at once, and it rests easy on the eye. Check out these ideas for using the hue in your space. You'll be seeing green before you know it.

Layers of Light

Although this pale green kitchen feels sprightly enough on its own, the lavender bar stools take it over the top. That shot of contrasting color sets off the green perfectly, and the cabinets are a soft enough shade to accommodate it. Generous swaths of neutral backsplash tile and flooring further calm the scheme.
