Itre's founder, Carlo Nason, was born and raised in Murano, Italy. Following in the tradition of his family of glassmakers, Nason began crafting glass so highly regarded that it is displayed in the Museum of Modern Art and the Corning Museum of Glass. Nason's latest venture, Itre, combines his knowledge of Murano glass with lighting design to produce a line of contemporary-styled pendants, wall sconces, and floor and desk lamps. Itre's U.S. headquarters are in Brooklyn, New York.
