Founded in 1880, Matteograssi of Mariano Comense, Italy, began as a saddlery craft enterprise but evolved into a furniture maker by the end of WWII, producing furnishing items in a combination of leather, coach hide, wood, glass, and steel. The current vast collection includes the work of designers such as Tito Agnoli, Piero Lissoni and Guglielmo Ulrich. The company launched a contract division in the `90s. Matteograssi products are found in airports, hotels, and restaurants and in over 1,200 retail locations worldwide. Brianza Furniture International is the sole agent of Matteograssi in the U.S. and Canada.
