Solution: Rein in the illusion of a cold room with darker paint colors.

Everyone loves a bright, sunny room, but large rooms lucky enough to also feature a large bank of windows and a lot of wall space can handle deep, dark tones without feeling anything less than bright and sunny. Darker colors visually minimize expansive spaces without reducing the square footage.
