Problem: There's no place to put the sofa.

Solution: It's okay to float a sofa in front of a window wall.

Think of your floor-to-ceiling windows as solid wall for the sake of furniture planning. Once you place your couch, use window treatments, accent lighting, and art to balance the room. If the furniture in front of windows will receive direct light, consider buying upholstery designed to resist sun-fading.
