Sunrooms for Every Style

By Lisa Frederick

Picture a sunroom and you may think of classic cottage style: pastels, slipcovers, faded florals. In truth, there's not a design style that doesn't lend itself to a sunny retreat. Check out these seven sunrooms, all showcasing a different look while preserving a light and open ambience.

Traditional

All the basic elements of traditional design are here: symmetrical furniture arrangement, classic forms, Oriental rug, dignified palette. And yet there's a hint of cheekiness in the way it's all arranged, with the cocktail table turned and the seating angled into a V shape. Floor-to-ceiling windows showcase the garden panorama outside and flood the space with light.
