Mini and Mighty: Decorating with Mosaic Tile in the Kitchen

Just as a painter uses a paintbrush and palette, you can use mosaic tiles to create patterns or designs on kitchen backsplashes, walls, and even floors.  Generally two-by-two-inch tiles or smaller, mosaic tiles are made of porcelain, clay, glass, metal, or other materials set in mortar.
